Hello! I'm a semi-retired content creator and 'retro game enthusiast', but I have many other interests beyond these hobbies!
I've been interested in video games since I was very small, but it was only during the pandemic that I realised that I had a passion for content creation. I started sportsandspeedruns in April 2020 on YouTube, and moved over to Twitch by the end of that year. While I haven't really done much streaming since early 2022, I still look back on those two years fondly as something that kept me going through the pandemic.
I also love to collect video games! I don't have anything expensive or rare, but I enjoy the games I have and always pick up more every few months or so. My favorite game (by far) is Wii Sports Resort, a game that I have probably sunk over 1000 hours into. In fact, it was Wii Sports Resort that led me to speedrunning!
Speaking of speedrunning, that was the main focus of my channel for a long time. I never was at the top of the leaderboard, but there are many runs that I am proud of. I feel like speedrunning helped reinforce my strength and my perseverance.
I'm also an avid golfer! I find it very relaxing (and it's nice to step away from the computer lol). There truly is nothing like being out on the golf course and not having to worry about anything else for a bit.
